Help These Seattle Dogs Please!
A friend is trying to help these pups and Neko wants to spread the word!
"I used to live with them several years ago, but they've since been abandoned by their owner, and have been living for the past month at the Seattle Animal Shelter (206.386.PETS) in a cement cell. They don't have much time left.
It would be best if they could be kept together, since Henri (chow/shepherd, ~9 yrs) is very much dependent on Joey (schipperke, ~12 yrs), but if they have to split up, that would be better than the alternative. I wish I could take them myself, but I can't. It just breaks my heart.
I know this is a long shot, but I have to try. They won't last much longer at the shelter, so please spread the word to anyone you may know who might want a dog, or who might know someone who might want a dog. They're very affectionate (if slightly neurotic) dogs, and would be great pets for someone. You can read more about them on Petfinder:
